Inspiration to write has escaped me the past few weeks and truth be told, the Taj Mahal is a tough act to follow. Plus, we really haven't done anything interesting lately. Just the routine of normal life - work, school, playground, Legos, and a variety of bedtime shenanigans by two overtired boys. So after another busy weekend (where we again, did nothing particularly interesting), I decided to scroll through the images stored on our cameras.
These first three photos were taken two weekends ago (on my phone so the quality isn't great), when the four of us took part in faculty field trip to
Jamali Kamali, located on the outskirts of New Delhi.
A stepwell:
Multiple cricket matches being played, with the
Qutub Minar in the background:
Earlier in the week, Liam created a new superhero named Hanktasaurous:
Yesterday, as Jonah left for one of his pre-dawn walks around the neighborhood, I was barely awake enough to say "bring a camera". As a result, he captured a photo of this gal, probably on her way to a wedding:
Asa takes in the scene from the back seat of a taxi yesterday afternoon:
Asa and Liam ride the gate as we enter campus:
Evidence of a rascally biker gang, just outside our front door:
An upscale grocery store where I paid almost $10 for a small wedge of imported Parmesan (worth every penny!):
And from the exact spot above, turning not quite 180 degrees to my right, our friend the cow surrounded by a more typical scene of street dogs, trash, and a random assortment of odds and ends:
And perhaps the highlight of my weekend, the inaugural
group Skype with my beloved cuties!
