On a recent Saturday morning, I had a meeting at school so Jonah took the boys on an outing to Gandhi Smriti - a place he has be eager to visit since we first got here. This is where Gandhi lived the last 144 days of his life, and where he was assassinated January 30, 1948. In our house, we talk often about Gandhi - his legacy of leadership, truthfulness and non-violence. During times of sibling conflict, the boys now know to expect the "What would Gandhi say about that?" moment.
The sign on the wall reads, "My life is my message." and this is my new favorite photo:
Back on campus, a walk through flower gardens toward our apartment building. Springtime in Delhi is truly delightful. And we're pretty sure Gandhi would agree with that.
