My Favorite Things

We are in a holding pattern. We were blissfully distracted by the holidays, the birth of a nephew, vacation in Florida, and a snowy New Year weekend in Hingham. It was all good. And now, it's just winter. In Maine. We are finding plenty of things to obsess about (which of three preschool programs is best for Liam, printing transcript request forms for graduate credits, discussing whether to rent or sell our home, and wondering just how does a family move all of their stuff to India). But mostly, we are spinning our wheels.

So, in an attempt to be productive and actually complete a single task, below is a list of things that I think I will miss most when we move:

1. Sharing EST zone with family
2. Taking the boys out for a restorative nap in the car
3. Book Club
4. Birthday parties
5. NESCAC basketball
6. Maine air
7. The Atlantic Ocean
8. Breakfast at Stones Café counter during a snow day
9. Watching the boys play with their cousins
10. Thanksgiving in New England
11. Easter on Thaxter Street
12. Solitude
13. Mothers Day 5K with Jenn
14. Dunkin' Donuts
15. Sledding

Time will tell if I'm right. Stay tuned.
