House Tour

On October 2nd, we moved into a new house in doing so, hit the reset button in our transition to Argentina. We acknowledge how important it is to be flexible when embarking on an international move and consider ourselves to be relatively low-maintenance. However, the house we were initially assigned to was simply not going to work long term and the things we didn't like about it were not fixable. When our sea shipment arrived, we decided to leave everything packed while we searched for a new place. After a few weeks of living in "box city", a new rental contract - with support of our school - came together fairly quickly. We signed a million papers, fingerprinted some others, and held our breath until the keys were in our possession.

On moving day, we packed, unpacked and arranged furniture until we were bleary-eyed, stumbled into our favorite pizza place for our only meal that day, then slept a few hours before the alarm rang at 2:30am. We made it to fall/spring break (!) and a much needed week to recover from the the pre-reset ups and downs.

Our new place is just three blocks from school (not the motivation to change houses but an added bonus) and from the minute we walked through the door, it felt like our space.

Here is the street view:

And Liam was quite happy to take on the assignment of a house tour video:

As you can see, plenty of room for visitors!
