Today was packout day. It was hot and humid, and even though we had many months to thoroughly plan and organize, we were somewhat scatterbrained in the moment. The three moving guys were very good sports.
First, they packed our maximum weight allotment for air shipment with kid gear and some work materials. Then we moved on to the larger sea shipment which we probably won't see until October. The movers carefully weighed each box before it was loaded onto the truck, and when they estimated that we were "way under", we threw a few more things their way.
It seemed fitting that the last item to get on the truck was the Radio Flyer wagon, which the boys had taken for a spin around the house before leaving for camp this morning.
